On the border of Lazio, at the peak of a woody hill, you can find Capalbio, known for its antique city walls and where there is a breathtaking view, home of the wild boar and the “bandits”  in the second half of the 800’s Maremma was taken by rage; the traditional story says that the famous bandit Tiburzi spent his fugitiveness there and today he is remembered for his legendary enterprise.

We suggest that you continue and stop off  at the Burano Lake which is also Oasis of the WWF.  Known for characteristic Roman ruins is the city of Cosa. 

Still near to Capalbio, in the locality of Garavicchio, you can visit the magical “Garden of Tarocchi” of the artist Niki De Saint Phall, an artistic park which is an example of  environmental art, built in the wonderful Tuscan hills where there are imposing, colourful and original sculptures the represent the “Arcani Maggiori of Tarocchi”.
