For those who love nature you should not miss the Natural Park of Maremma, which runs from Principina a Mare to Talamone, an environment full of wildlife and uncontaminated,  its charm is charactized by pine woods that run along the coast and flourishing mediterranean  bushes  with unique plants, where you can admire rare and migrate birds, deer, fallow deer, wild boars, porcupines and numerous other speices of maremmane cows grazing and herds of wild horses, you can also have an experience with the Maremma cowboys,  an antique trade that is almost extinct, devoted to the care of cattle.

There is the possibility to go on excursions inside the park by foot, on horse back, by bicycle or by canoe, canoing along the River Ombrone until its mouth.  The park is open all year and it is possible to visit it following a series of routes with different durations and different time depending on the season; for some of these route it is obligated to have a  Park guide.  Also, there are night excursions and for the disabled.  The Alberese beach, Marina di Alberese, is something not to miss out on, a 15 minute drive by car.  The beach can be reached along a road that runs through the Park of Maremma.

A fascinating beach: in front of the open sea, looking out to the left is the view of Monte Argentario and The Isle of Giglio.  You can also see the mounts of the Bird Park.; the beach is
completely natural, and this adds to its charm.  To get to the beach you have to go to Alberese and pay for the parking (open from 15/6 to 15/09) which you can find in the Alberese Visitor Centre (in the high season there is aslo a pay point in Respescia), if the car park is full there is a park and ride service which runs every 30 minutes from Alberese to Marina di Alberese.  After 6pm the barrier is open.
