All this makes the Isola del Giglio a jewel in the middle of the Tyrrhenian Sea.
The inhabited centers are three: Giglio Porto , Giglio Castello and Giglio Campese.
The port is small and picturesque with numerous shops, craft shops, bars and restaurants.
The Castle is located on the top of the island, consisting of an inhabited nucleus and massive walls that completely surround it. In the village there is a suggestive atmosphere, nothing seems changed over the centuries.
A walk to Giglio Porto and the walls of Giglio Castello should not be missed during a trip to Giglio.
Finally, Campese is the most recent area on the island and is in effect a tourist settlement. From this beach the sunsets are a real show.
